Marty Schenk wants to tell us stories that move. This is often not what we see but what it sets in motion - a thought, a memory, a feeling. He looks for stories with depth and intention - and prefers to see them through the eyes of their protagonists, to feel with them. 

He has been working as a film editor for over twenty years - starting in advertising where many of his commercials received international awards. Music videos, feature films and streaming formats followed.

Marty's spectrum ranges from sharp comedy to sophisticated arthouse cinema and large-scale streaming productions. Sound design, music and VFX can be part of the storytelling. He occasionally records sounds himself or lends his voice to narration.

Marty works from his studio in Berlin-Mitte, he is open to new technologies and above all to stories that stay with you.
